Whistler & Blackcomb
ski & snowboard FAQ
Mountain Pass - You all have a full-access day-pass on Tuesday and Wednesday for Blackcomb and Whistler mountains.
Where’s my pass? - You’ll need to log into your account and complete the waiver, upload a photo, and provide an address to mail the ski pass to. We strongly recommend doing this ahead of your trip as to save time on the mountain.
Pass Insurance - It automatically comes with basic Epic Core insurance. You don’t need to select or pay for anything additional.
Equipment Rental - If you need to rent equipment (skis, helmet, etc.), you may do so directly on the website, or by calling them at 1-888-403-4727. You may pick up your rentals at the mountain adventure centre at the fairmont. When you arrive back for they day, you may leave your items with the ski valet team stationed at the bottom of the mountain and they will be returned to the mountain adventure centre from there.
Private Guide - We have reserved two guides for Tuesday and Wednesday (up to six people in each group). The group will be divided by skill level. These guides are there to direct you to the best ski runs, help skip the line, refresh your skills, etc.
Restaurants & Restrooms - There are restaurants on both mountains and plenty of restroom facilities.
Fairmont Ski Valet - The ski valet is a ski and snowboard storage complimentary for guests to use. Storage of boards and skis are not permitted in the guest rooms. The Fairmont guest services team will assist in collecting and tagging ski, poles, and boards for guests which can be picked up from our mountain adventure centre which is ski in, ski out. They are also available to answer any questions you might have about the mountain.
Have More Questions? - Reach out to us or contact the mountain directly (rrwreservations@vailresorts.com or 1-888-403-4727).
